OpenSim Workshop
North American Congress on Biomechanics
August 5, 2008
register at: http://simbios.stanford.edu/EventsOfInterest/OpenSimNACOBReg.htm
You are invited to attend a hands-on workshop at the upcoming North
American Society of Biomechanics. The workshop will introduce you to
OpenSim, a freely available software package that enables modeling
and simulation of human and animal movement, including inverse
dynamics analysis and forward dynamic simulation. OpenSim version
1.0 was introduced at the American Society of Biomechanics Conference
last August. Since then, hundreds of people have begun to use the
software for research and teaching. The hands-on workshop at NACOB
will allow you to get simulations running on your computer and to
analyze them to understand muscle function. You can download the
software at https://simtk.org/home/opensim and get started with the
tutorials before the workshop.
