I have been searching for a training course for a biomedical engineer I
have working in my department. Specifically, she is looking for a
course on mechanical testing using tissue as a substrate. Some of the
areas she is interested in include: tissue storage and conditions of
storage for testing; tissue deformation effects on results (how to
compensate about it); tissue orientation effects on testing (list of
tissues and orientation properties); mechanics of the body and how to
successfully model an ex-vivo test. If anyone has any info or knowledge
of any available training, please let me know. Thank you! Jessica M.
