Hi
Anyone used Castiron as a prosthesis material?, how is it biocompatible?
if there are somebody used this material as prosthesis material please let
me know, because surprisingly it has been used in india as prosthesis
material, since it is a brittle material also it will form rust once it is
fixed in a place like hip after operation, so, let me know if there are
some other countries which are using cast iron as prosthesis material
please, anticipating your reply,
Best Regards,
Dr.M.Sivasankar.
