Post Title: PROFESSOR in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics
Location: Department of Sport, Health and Exercise Science, University
of Hull, UK
The Department of Sport, Health and Exercise Science are seeking to
appoint a highly motivated Professor in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics
to join a team of academics to teach on our undergraduate and
postgraduate taught and research programmes.
The appointee will be expected to lead their area of expertise and be
willing and able to conduct and publish research in peer-reviewed
journals, making a significant contribution to the Departmental research
agenda.
The Department are well resourced and have extensive Sport Science and
Rehabilitation facilities. There are excellent facilities for both
teaching and research, including a state of the art, high speed motion
analysis system, multiple force plates, EMG, pressure analysis and
dynamic posturography. We have close ties with a variety of
professional athletes and teams. We collaborate with other University
Departments including Psychology, Computer Science and Engineering, as
well as the Hull York Medical School.
Salary on the Scale Teaching and Research
