  • Faculty Position

    The University of Iowa Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is recruiting a tenure-track faculty bioengineer at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering with experience in biomechanics-related research. Applicants should have demonstrated ability in research with clear potential for a funded research program. The University of Iowa Orthopaedic Biomechanics program includes one faculty bioengineer and four research bioengineers, as well as orthopaedic surgeons and biologists. The successful applicant would become part of this well-supported established program, and would be expected to develop their individual research interests. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
