The Gait and Motion Analysis Laboratory at the University of Virginia's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks a full-time Research Technician to assist in the data collection and the publication of results related to a grant on flexibility. Responsibilities will include data collections, data analysis, laboratory management, subject recruitment, subject interactions, and manuscript preparation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a science/math related field, although a master's degree in engineering, and prior experience with motion capture and force plates is preferred.
The Research Technician will be mentored by the engineering and clinical teams of the lab, with the potential to achieve growth in the position within the first year.
