LIFEMODELER, INC., DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
LifeModeler, Inc., is seeking in a highly motivated individual to become part of a talented team of dedicated to advancing virtual modeling tools for the musculoskeletal system. The Development Engineer will: design, implement, test and maintain computational models of biomechanical systems; provide high-level support to LifeMOD(tm) consultants, support staff and customers; keep abreast of the latest technology and trends by attending software, biomechanics and medical industry conferences; and provide source materials for web-based documentation. This position reports to the VP of Product Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
* Strong math and physics skills.
* Fluent in C++, Fortran, Python and general macro development
* Experience working with numerical or symbolic mathematical methods.
* Experience in advanced methods such as neural networks, optimization, robust design, etc., a plus
* Exposure to multi-body dynamics technology (ADAMS, etc.) a significant plus.
* Knowledge of biomechanics, biological performance and anatomy is a plus.
* Must be willing to relocate to San Clemente, CA
