I am currently doing my Masters research on the biomechanics of Ground Reaction Ankle Foot Orthosis (GRAFO). I am working on methodologies to find out the magnitude of forces that the GRAFO produces on the leg to prevent a crouched gait, as well as the flexion and extension moments of the knee that occurs during stance phase during the gait cycle. I am currently looking for kinematic and kinetic results in VICON c3d data, from cerebral palsy patients who wear GRAFOs and have gone through 3D gait analysis. Information regarding the prescription of the GRAFOs will be very helpful as well. All these data will allow me to validate the accuracy of my methodologies.
