Electromyography (EMG) is an emerging physiological research tool used in
numerous fields including biomechanics, motor control, ergonomics, and many
more. This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed
to utilize EMG in your own research.
A wide range of topics will cover the most important elements of EMG. in
particular, sessions will discuss the origin and nature of the EMG signal,
EMG instrumentation, EMG application, EMG analysis, and some specific
applications in sports research.
Speakers include researchers from all over the world:

Dr. Serge Roy, Sc.D., P.T. – USA
Dr. A. Ruhi Soylu, Ph.D., M.D. – Turkey

The workshop will be held in Ankara, Turkey at the Midas Hotel. Ankara is
an ancient city with history dating back to the Bronze Age. Currently, it
is the capital of Turkey, and the second largest city in the country. There
are archaeological sites from the Hittite, Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman
empires, making Ankara one of the most historic cities in the world.
Attractions include numerous museums, archaeological sites, and many bazaars
for shopping.
