  • Force plate videos from BiomechanicsMMU on YouTube

    Dear Colleague,

We have produced a further series of videos which are now available to view on YouTube. This latest series is about the use of
Force Plates in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics.

The following videos have been created:

    1. Introduction to Force Plate systems
    2. Components of Force
    3. Sampling Frequency
    4. Body weight & Zeroing the Force Plate
    5. Locomotion
    6. Centre of Pressure and the Free Moment

The video clips can be accessed from the Biomechanics MMU main page: http://uk.youtube.com/BiomechanicsMMU

I have also created a playlist if you wish to view all the videos in sequence:
    http://uk.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=45CFC577A5A5B6C8

In the coming weeks we plan to evaluate the videos using a similar survey to that used to evaluate our 2D video analysis videos
    (further details to follow).

We hope you enjoy the clips and look forward to hearing your feedback.

    Regards,

    Ed Parker & Adrian Burden.
