The 27th International Conference on Biomechanics in Sports will take
place from the 17th - 21st August 2009 at the University of Limerick,
Ireland.
The conference will consist of 7 keynote presentations from some of the
leading sports biomechanists and upwards of 250 papers related to sports
biomechanics. There will also be a strong focus on the applied aspects
of sports biomechanics; including applied sessions in rowing, swimming,
strength and conditioning, coaching biomechanics and advanced data
analysis; these will also be led by experts within the fields.
The important dates are as follows - online paper submission will open
on February 1st 2009 and close on May 1st 2009; this will be available
at www.isbs2009.com. You will be notified of the acceptance of your
paper by 17th May 2009. Exact paper format will be available online in
January 2009, however paper length should not exceed 4 pages.
Registration will be open on December 1st 2008, please visit
www.isbs2009.com and follow the link to Registration. To avail of our
early registration rates you must register online by June 12th 2009.
