  • Graduate Bioengineering Fellowship Opportunity at Trinity CollegeDublin and University of Notre Dame

A fellowship opportunity in the area of cartilage mechanobiology and
tissue engineering is available at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and the
University of Notre Dame (ND) through the Naughton Graduate Student
Exchange Program. The mission of the program is to enable doctoral
students to experience an international education and to facilitate
broad cross-cultural training. The Naughton fellow will be based at
either TCD or at ND, and is expected to spend approximately two years in
graduate school each university. It is anticipated that the student will
obtain a Masters degree from their host institution in addition to a
Ph.D. from their home institution. The fellowship covers tuition at both
universities, a competitive stipend for living expenses in both
    countries, and a travel allowance.

We seek a student who has breadth of vision and experience in addition
to outstanding undergraduate achievement in bioengineering, mechanical
engineering, or a related field. Naughton fellows are expected to serve
as ambassadors for both universities and both countries, preparing for a
life of leadership and service grounded in their technical accomplishments.

To be considered for this fellowship opportunity, applicants must:

    1. Apply to the graduate school at either Trinity College Dublin or the
    University of Notre Dame, and

    2. Submit a one-paragraph statement highlighting the applicant’s
qualifications and interest in this international fellowship opportunity
    to the contacts provided below.

For further information, please contact Dr. Daniel Kelly at Trinity
College Dublin (kellyd9@tcd.ie ) or Dr. Diane
Wagner at the University of Notre Dame (dwagner@nd.edu
    ).
