    This position will be responsible for the development, and implementation of
    a data collection system to measure the biomechanics (force, posture, and
    electromyography) of office workers in the field. The individual will be
    responsible for selecting individual components and integrating these
    components into data acquisition system. This includes the development and
    integration of the data acquisition software. They will coordinate the
    hardware aspect of implanting the data collection (others will be
    responsible for coordinating subject recruitment etc). International travel
    will be required for the data collection phase of the project. The
    individual will also be responsible for fundamental data processing of the
    biomechanical data once collected. The individual will be working with an
    international team of researchers and doctoral students in Boston, Seattle,
    and Amsterdam. This is a grant-funded position through August 31, 2011.

    Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biomechanics, Bioengineering,
    Kinesiology, or Human Movement Science with two years experience or a
    Master's Degree in the same fields.

    Additional Qualifications: Independent working style desired with the
    capabilities of working within a multidisplinary team. Program skills in
    either LabView or MatLab preferred. Experience with data acquisition
    systems, such as National Instruments or portable data loggers preferred.
    Experience with electromyography preferred.
