    The Federal Aviation Administration’s Biodynamics Research Team currently
    has an opening for an entry level Mechanical Engineer (Research). The
    incumbent supports dynamic impact tests of aircraft interiors including the
    design, analysis, documentation, and reporting on the mechanical and
    structural engineering aspects of the test projects conducted, as well as
    human tolerance to impact. Additional work areas include electronic and
    high-speed photographic instrumentation, and ATD calibration/maintenance.
    The engineer will utilize specialized software (e.g. Matlab, Labview, VB,
    and VBA) to develop equipment control interfaces. The engineer will also
    be expected to author scientific/engineering reports and present them to
    the biodynamics community. Candidate must be a US citizen.

    The Biodynamics team is part of the Aeromedical Research division of the
    Civil Aerospace Medical Institute, located in Oklahoma City, OK. This
    facility conducts research in all aspects of aviation related human factors
    including forensic toxicology, functional genomics, radiobiology, cabin
    safety, environmental physiology, and airmen vision. More information can
