Dear All,
We are recently working on Parkinson Disease (PD) and would like to analyze sit-to-stand (STS) movement of people with different levels of PD. There are many interesting works done previously in this respect. However, we think there are still many questions to be answered. Unfortunately, in our school, which is an engineering school, we do not have the suitable set-up to collect the necessary data for our purpose. Therefore, we are looking for some data from other resources to be shared with our group. In other words, we would like to propose a cooperation between our group (I have two PhD students, who will help me in this regard) and the group who can provide us with the data we are looking for. Or if there are data which have already been recorded, if we get the permission to use those data, we will certainly acknowledge the source of the data. For this purpose, we need kinematic and kinetic information (joint trajectories and seat and ground
reaction forces) during STS movement of subjects with PD. We would like also to have information about the age and the level of progress of the disease as well as medical background of the subjects (if they use any medication for their problem, and that what is the medicine they take). Of course, we know to use these data we need to get consents from the subjects. So, we are also ready to do whatever necessary in this respect.
We will appreciate any help in this respect.
Best regards
