LBMC (Laboratory of Biomechanics and Impact Mechanics, Joint research
Unit of INRETS - University Lyon 1, Lyon, France) has a strong research
program in digital human modelling for ergonomic design of products, in
particular for automotive applications. It aims to collect human
functional data, task related motion data as well as to develop human
biomechanical models for motion simulation and discomfort assessment. A
PhD or researcher position is now open at the LBMC for an industrial
research project in collaboration with a car manufacturer. We are
searching for motivated and outstanding individuals in the area of
anthropometry and postural modeling. The ideal candidate should have
independent research skills and experiences in both physics-based
modelling and experimentation with human subjects. To apply, please send
