Please provide maximum diffusion; sorry for cross-posting
Dear colleagues:
I believe without the last minute science would not exist. This is
to inform you that because of repeated requested from various
colleagues who missed the deadline to submit abstracts to the
forthcoming International Conference on Computational Bioengineering
(ICCB2009), we have extended it until 14th February 2009. Here below
the updated call for papers.
Please notice that due to the large number of abstracts received, and
given that the hosting facilities have physical limitations on the
number of attendees, this will be the only extension.
Best regards

ICCB2009 – Call for Abstracts: deadline extended
We invite you to submit your abstract to the Fourth International
Conference on Computational Bioengineering, including the First
European Symposium on Biomedical Integrative Research, which will be
held in Bertinoro (IT) on 16th-18th September 2009.
We invite submission of original work related to all aspects of
computational bioengineering. In addition, we invite papers on the
following special topics:
- Data management and modelling tools
- Methods for subject-specific modelling
- Experimental methods for models validation
- New numerical methods and computational tools
- Probabilistic and optimisation methods in bioengineering
- Multiscale modelling and integrative research
One-page abstracts should be prepared using the Word template
downloadable from here:
http://www.iccb2009.org/?page=submission
Abstracts will be published online and on electronic supports “as they
are”; thus, we ask you to strictly comply with the formatting rules
you will find in the template file. Submitted papers will be checked
for compliance (papers not meeting the specifications will be
automatically rejected).
Formatted abstracts should be submitted in PDF format by e-mail. The
maximum file size accepted by the system is 2MB. If you submit more
than one abstract, please send them as separate mails. To bypass our
anti-spam filter, the subject line of the mail must be “ICCB2009
abstract submission”. All submissions must be sent to:
mailto:submission@iccb2009.org?subject=ICCB2009%20 abstract%20submission
Abstracts send to any other e-mail address will not be considered.
After submission you should receive a an acknowledgement of receipt by
e-mail from the conference organisation within five days (except for
the Christmas holidays break, during which our offices will be
closed); if this does not happen, please check with us by writing at:
mailto:info@iccb2009.org
Abstracts will be received until February 14th 2009. After this date,
abstracts will be rejected.
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Notification of acceptance will
be sent by e-mail to the corresponding authors no later than March
30th, 2009.
All information on the congress, including registration and
accommodation can be found here:
