Graduate Teaching / Research Assistantship

Biomechanics Research Laboratory

Applications are invited for a graduate research / teaching assistantship for
students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in the area of Biomechanics through
the Department of Biomedical Engineering or Biological Sciences at the
Michigan Technological University.
This position will assist with teaching in the Department of Exercise Science,
Health and Physical Education and assist with ongoing research related to 3D
motion analysis and biomechanical modeling. Individuals with a background in
kinesiology, biomechanics, motor control, or related fields are invited to apply.
This position starts with Fall Semester 2009. Screening will begin immediately
and continue until position is filled.
Successful candidates should have completed their masters degree in an
appropriate field of study, have experience with 3D motion analysis, and be
highly motivated to develop their research, writing, and presentation skills.
To be considered for the research assistantship, students first need to apply
and be accepted into the PhD degree program in Biological Sciences or
