Dear Colleagues,
I am writing this e-mail to inform you about public access to cadaver
foot testing data, which were made available by our research group. The
data were collected as part of a project to develop efficient methods
for multidomain biomechanical simulations. Interested parties can access
to an anatomical image set (based on computed tomography) and also to a
large data set representative of the passive mechanical response of the
foot while intact (both regional and the whole foot).
We believe that this data set can be a valuable resource for those
interested in building models of the foot; for musculoskeletal
simulations and/or for finite element analysis. It will hopefully
encourage future work in foot biomechanics by facilitating access to
such detailed information.
