The University of Delaware, Department of Physical Therapy seeks a qualified
individual for a post-doctoral researcher position to study the effect of
combined FES and robotic gait retraining on the recovery of walking ability in
persons following a stroke. The successful candidate must be a physical
therapist eligible for professional licensure in the State of Delaware, USA;
experience with motion analysis and electromyography and the ability to
program in Matlab. The position involves interaction with an interdisciplinary
team of engineers, muscle physiologists and movement scientists. It is
preferred that the candidate have had experience working with individuals with
neurological dysfunction, particularly stroke. The position starts in July 2009.
