  • Reminder: Call for proposal

    Biomechanics Interest Group (BIG)
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

    Dear colleagues,

ACSM 2010 annual meeting will be held next summer (June 2-5) in Baltimore
Maryland, USA. You are invited to submit a session proposal. I have attached
ACSM session definitions at the end of this message. There are seven
different session types in two categories. BIG members have been successful
in the past in proposing for different session types. You do not have to be
an ACSM member to submit or participate in a session.

The submission deadline for ACSM is June 20, 2009. Please send your
submission to me (lli3@lsu.edu) before May 15, 2009. The BIG membership will
discuss these proposals during our business meeting on May 28 in Seattle.
The BIG executive committee will then rank and recommend them to ACSM
program committee. ACSM program committee will make the final selection.
Please check ACSM website for submission requirements.

    Sincerely yours,

    Li Li, Ph.D. FACSM
    Co-Chair, ACSM Biomechanics Interest Group
    Jo Ellen Levy Yates Professor
Department of Kinesiology, Louisiana State University
    Baton Rouge, LA 70803, USA
