There are full time tenure-track faculty positions available in the School of Design & Human Engineering at UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology).
Those who can deliver lectures in English, and have both at least 2-year industrial experience and a doctoral degree in the following specific areas are welcome to apply;
1) Industrial Design
2) Cognitive Ergonomics
3) Affective Engineering
4) Acoustics & Auditory Engineering
5) Medical Engineering
6) Biomechanics
7) Color & Image Engineering
Anticipated start date is August 1, 2009, and salary and benefits are very competitive. Responsibilities associated with this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising the research of graduate students at the masters and doctoral levels, conducting independent scholarly research, publishing in respected peer reviewed journals, and acquiring external funding to support the research effort.
Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.
