The abstract deadline for the Northwest Biomechanics Symposium is
quickly approaching. This ASB regional meeting will be held June 5-6,
2009 at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Abstracts are due
on April 30, 2009. Please see the conference website,
http://www.chebe.wsu.edu/NWBS2009/ for more information about the
meeting and abstract submission guidelines.
Please note that the meeting is FREE for all who would like to attend,
but we will be implementing an on-line registration system shortly to
assist us in planning. There will also be low-cost on-campus housing
available, which will make the meeting very affordable. Housing and
registration information will be updated on the website soon.
As with previous regional ASB meetings, the goal of this meeting is to
encourage students in biomechanics, assist research collaborations, and
advance biomechanics research and education. This year's keynote
speaker will be Dr. James Ashton-Miller of University of Michigan.
We look forward to seeing many of you in Pullman in June!
Sincerely,
Anita Vasavada and David Lin, Meeting co-chairs
