    FALL 2009 GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP
    UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER

    We are currently are accepting applications for a graduate research
    assistantship that will start in Fall 2009. This research assistantship is
    supported by an externally funded project that will evaluate the ability of
    a new body weight suspension device to rehabilitate the neuromuscular
    function of children with cerebral palsy. This position includes a stipend
    and tuition reimbursement.

    DEGREES OFFERED: Interested individuals can pursue the MS or PhD degrees
    with a rehabilitative biomechanics focus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include subject recruitment, data
    collection/processing, laboratory maintenance, manuscript preparation and
    assisting with clinical gait analysis.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or MS or DPT in Physical Therapy, Exercise
    Science, Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering or related field. Experiences
    with children with disabilities, biomechanical data collection and
    professional writing skills are preferred.
