Position Title: 1-Year Instructor in Motor Behavior/Biomechanics
Kinesiology Division, School of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies
The Kinesiology Division faculty, who are dedicated to the science of human movement, seek a colleague with
expertise in Motor Learning/Biomechanics to join our community of scholars.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Teach undergraduate courses in motor learning, biomechanics, sport conditioning and/or functional anatomy;
2. Teach related graduate courses depending on professional qualifications.
Professional Qualifications:
1. Earned Masters degree or doctorate in Motor Behavior, or Biomechanics, or Kinesiology, or closely related discipline preferred (ABD considered);
2. Demonstrated commitment to quality instruction with evidence of effective teaching at the university level;
3. Expertise in additional area(s) (e.g., sport conditioning, research design/statistics, measurement and/or athletic training) is desirable.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience.
Effective Date of Employment: August 10, 2009
