Barry University is seeking qualified individuals to assist graduate Biomechanics faculty with research projects. The research involvement will include but not be limited to:
data collection and entry, participant recruitment, assisting with grant applications, literature reviews, pilot testing, and scholarly writing.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Biomechanics or related field, applied to and must be fully accepted into the graduate program in Injury and Sport Biomechanics-Biomechanics Track.
Requirements include: thesis track, eighteen credits per academic year completed. All certifications required in the discipline must be current on application and maintained throughout their program. Appointments may be for one academic year or two. Summers may be included depending on the research project principal investigator's needs.
Accepted applicants will have 18 credits per year covered, an hourly stipend, with books and fees covered. A meal plan provided on-campus is available Start date August 24, 2009.
