Dear All,
I am just wondering if anyone of you out there has conducted any indentation experiments to measure the threshold of discomfort/pain at the stump for BK and/or AK patients and simultaneously collect verbal feedback from the patients. Thereafter, you measure the interface pressures during gait, for the same sites, on the same patients.
Does interface pressure lower than the threshold of discomfort/pain really mean that the patient is comfortable?
Can anyone share with us his/her experiences ? It would be perfect if you have done a large scale studies (> 20 patients).
