The Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University announces
the availability of a postdoctoral position. We are seeking a Ph.D. with an
engineering background to study the functional impact of degenerative spine
deformity and surgical fusion. Ongoing projects include pre- and
post-operative gait analyses of persons undergoing spinal fusion,
investigations of spinal balance and gait, and the effect of spinal
deformity and surgery on energy expenditure. Experience with quantitative
gait analysis and MATLAB is required.
