Position: Lecturer in Biomechanics
Vacancy Reference: ABA0188-1
Salary H3: £35,598 - £45,788 pa incl. London Weighting
This is a new lectureship and the post-holder will complement our existing expertise within applied biomechanics. Existing interests range from child development to elite sports performance. The post-holder will be expected to undertake high quality research in biomechanics of sport and teach in this area as well as contribute to other areas such as research methods. We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals with expertise that would support the ongoing applied work in the Centre for Sports Medicine and Human Performance.
Candidates should have:
* completed or be near completion of a doctorate in biomechanics
* research publications in high quality journals
* achieved, or demonstrate the potential to attract grant funding
