Description:
A postdoctoral research fellow position is available at The Ohio State
University, Columbus, OH. This position is funded by National Institute
on Aging for 2 years. The objective of this project is to explore the
role of active bone remodeling in determining a viscoelastic deformation
of postmenopausal vertebral body. Techniques involved in this project
are creep testing, nanoindentation, digital image analysis,
microcomputed tomography, computation using MPI system and finite
element analysis. The candidate is expected to conduct experiments and
assist to prepare manuscript and proposals. This is a good opportunity
to be trained for interdisciplinary subjects combining engineering
theory and clinical application. This position is available immediately.

Qualifications: The successful candidates should currently have Ph.D of
