PhD Scholarship in FE Modelling at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia
An Australian Research Council funded PhD scholarship (3 years), is available for an enthusiastic Masters or First class honours graduate in Biomedical, Mechanical or related engineering branch at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.
The interdisciplinary project is a collaboration between research groups in Medical Engineering and Smart Systems Research.
The successful candidate will be mainly involved in the development and validation of a new iterative FE simulation technique for predicting the deformation of bone fracture fixation plates in orthopaedic surgery.
