Dear Biomch-L Subscribers,

A symposium on *Mechanobiology of Bone Remodelling and Adaptation* (MBR&A) is being organized in the framework of the *IV European Conference on Computational Mechanics* (ECCM2010, http://www.eccm2010.org/), to be held in *Paris, May 16-21, 2010*.
Organizers of this symposium are Salah Naïli (University Paris Est), Vittorio Sansalone (University Paris Est), David Taylor (Trinity College Dublin), and Bert van Rietbergen (Eindhoven University of Technology).

The goal of this symposium is to collect contributions from different communities working on Bone Remodelling and Adaptation and to let them talk with one another.
The focus will be set on computational issues, while still highlighting the mechanical modelling as well as the biological foundation.

Updated information about the MBR&A symposium and the brochure may be found at the webpage:
http://sites.google.com/site/mbraeccm2010/home

A call for abstracts is open to submit contributions to the MBR&A symposium.
Abstracts shall be submitted via the conference website (http://www.eccm2010.org/abstract.php) by *November 20, 2009*.
Selected papers of the MBR&A symposium will be also submitted for a special issue of the Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials.

Looking forward to seeing you in Paris next year,

Best regards,

Vittorio Sansalone

On behalf of the Organising Committee
