PHYSICAL THERAPY FACULTY
TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH
Unique opportunity to be a part of futuristic hi-tech
teaching/learning environment including interactive
telecommunications (TV) and computer assisted instruction.
TTUHSC, with its administrative center in Lubbock, serves the
health care and educational needs of the 135,000 square mile
area of West Texas, as well as areas of New Mexico and
Oklahoma. Physical Therapy is expanding an entry-level
Master's Degree program to Amarillo and the Permian Basin.
Communities: Both cities enjoy a high quality of living with
excellent schools, reputable medical centers, a clean
environment and an extremely low cost of living.
ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION: A 12-month tenure-track appointment
is immediately available to lead the expansion our new Master
of Physical Therapy program. The position requires an earned
doctorate and eligible for Texas physical therapy license.
In addition to administering, the individual will have
multiple opportunities for professional development, i.e.,
teaching in area(s) of expertise, research, service and
clinical practice.
FACULTY POSITIONS: Immediate openings with a well-
established program. Qualifications include: Master's
degree, clinical experience and some teaching, (clinical or
academic) experience required. Responsibilities include
teaching and participation in faculty practice plan.
Excellent professional opportunities are provided for further
graduate study, clinical research and/or clinical practice.
Teaching laboratories are modern and well-equipped.
