    Post Doctoral Researchers: automated systems for dynamic behaviour analysis project

    c. 30.1K - £33.8K pa inclusive

    Fixed term contract



    We are looking for two post doctoral researchers to join the Structure and Motion Group as part of a collaborative project with researchers from the University of Cambridge and UCL. You will be part of a dynamic and successful research team investigating gait, locomotion and social behaviour in a sheep model of Huntington's Disease. It will be necessary to travel to South Australia or New Zealand for a month, twice yearly, for field work.



    You will have a PhD in a computer science, science, engineering or maths discipline, knowledge of programming in C and experience of image analysis and/or signal processing. You should be enthusiastic and highly motivated, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimum supervision.



    A second post doctoral researcher (advertised as Post A, reference number VBS/0135/09) will focus on field measurements of sheep locomotion and behaviour.



    This is a fixed term post for two years with a possibility of extension.
