On behalf of the Gait and Clinical Movement Society we are pleased to
invite you to participate in the Second combined ESMAC and GCMAS (JEGM)
meeting to be held May 12-15, 2010 in Miami, Florida, USA. This is the
second call for abstracts for podium or poster presentations in all
areas of gait and clinical movement analysis.

We have confirmed two keynote presentations by distinguished
researchers. Randy Ellis of Queens University in Kingston, Ontario will
present a keynote address on surgical navigation "Image, Models, and
Motion: problems and prospects for computational orthopedics". Scott
Delp of the Stanford University Neuromuscular Biomechanics lab will
present a keynote address on surgical simulation.

To accommodate the combined ESMAC and GCMAS memberships and give
presenters the opportunity to showcase their research, we are pleased
to announce that the coming meeting will include more podium
presentations than any previous meeting.

Abstract Information:
All abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed and any abstracts in the
field of motion analysis are welcome, however, priority will be given
to abstracts not previously presented. Submissions for case studies
must follow the same format specifications for all other scientific
program submissions.

Accepted abstracts will be included in the official conference
proceedings and posted online on Science Direct (full text). Gait and
Posture will publish authors' names and abstract titles only. All
abstracts must be received by December 18, 2009. Notification of
acceptance for the conference will be made by February 1, 2010.

About the Meeting:
This is the second GCMAS / ESMAC combined meeting and provides an
international forum to fulfill the mission of GCMAS and ESMAC to
stimulate and advance scientific knowledge, promote professional
interaction and collaboration among societies and society members, and
advance the field of gait and clinical movement analysis in the
clinical and research environments. This program is designed for
orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, developmental pediatricians, and
physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, as well as physical
and occupational therapists, kinesiologists,
biomedical/mechanical/electrical engineers, and others interested in
human movement.
