  • First Call for Papers International Society of Biomechanics inSport 2010: Marquette, MI, USA 19-23 July 2010

28th International Society of Biomechanics in Sports Conference

    19 - 23 July 2010, Marquette, MI USA www.nmu.edu/isbs

    Abstract Deadline: 5th March 2010

The 28th International Society of Biomechanics in Sports Conference will be
hosted by Northern Michigan University (NMU) in Marquette, MI USA. NMU is
located in a stunning environment on the shore of the world's largest
freshwater lake, Lake Superior. Surrounded by miles of forests and mountains
for hiking and biking, beaches for swimming and paddling, Marquette is a
vibrant town rich with culture and history and ripe for shopping and
relaxing. The conference will be held at the NMU University Center with
housing available on campus less than 10 minutes walk from the congress
    venue or in local hotels.

    Submission of Manuscripts
Scientific papers are requested for oral sessions or poster sessions. All
papers are subject to review by the Scientific Committee. There are two
types of papers accepted for review:

Full length manuscripts: up to 4 pages including a 10 line abstract
Abstracts: 2 page structured abstract of completed research

The format and style are the same for both papers except that there is no 10
line abstract in a structured Abstract (see spacing, margins, font specifics
in the instructions for full papers www.nmu.edu/isbs). Following the TITLE,
authors and affiliations, the paper is structured under the following
headings: KEY WORDS, INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION,
    CONCLUSION, and REFERENCES.

All papers must be submitted through the online system www.nmu.edu/isbs by
Friday 5th March 2010. You will receive automatic confirmation that your
paper has been received. Please note that only registered delegates can
present at the conference and only papers of delegates who are registered
will be entered into the program. All accepted papers will be published in
the Conference Proceedings and available online at
    http://w4.ub.uni-konstanz.de/cpa.
