  • Meeting Announcement for the Society for Back Pain Research

    Meeting Announcement:

    This announcement will be of interest to those studying the biomechanics of
    the spine.

    The 2010 Society for Back Pain Research (SBPR) meeting will take place at
    the University of Southern Denmark at Odense ( on
    the 9th-11th June. The abstract deadline is 26th February 2010.

    The SBPR is an organisation based in the U.K. which promotes the study of
    all clinical and scientific aspects of spinal pain(including neck pain), and
    encourages research into its causes, treatment and prevention. Scientific
    meetings of the SBPR are held yearly and non-members are welcome to attend,
    and to present their research. Papers on various aspects of back pain
    research are presented and discussed and the best abstracts in each year are
    published in the JBJS. Participants are form a variety of disciplines, and
    include Engineers, Bioengineers, Biochemists, Anatomists and
    Epidemiologists, as well as Orthopaedic Surgeons, Rheumatologists,
    Neurologists and General Practitioners, and other practitioners including
    Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors.
