    A Post-doctoral/Research Associate position in Comparative Locomotor Biomechanics is available in Dr. Audrone Biknevicius' lab at Ohio University (Athens, OH, U.S.A.). The successful candidate will participate in research that examines body size/shape and speed factors effecting gait transitions in mammals.
    Opportunities for independent research or collaboration with other faculty members during the appointment are also possible. Ohio University is home to a vibrant group of faculty & students that engage in vertebrate functional morphology and biomechanics.     REQUIREMENTS: The preferred candidate will have a PhD in biology or a related discipline with an emphasis in comparative experimental biomechanics. Experience with motion analysis (overground and/or treadmill), force platform analysis, and/or respirometry would benefit this research.
