OPENINGS FOR MASTER'S AND PHD STUDENTS in occupational biomechanics and ergonomics - through the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Iowa (UI).

Graduate study in the Ergonomics Training Program of the Heartland Center for Occupational Health and Safety combines the perspectives and principles of health science and engineering. Faculty from four UI Departments--Occupational and Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Physical Therapy-- contribute to training and research in ergonomics.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT - All students admitted to a Heartland Center training program are automatically considered for full or partial tuition support and a monthly stipend. The Heartland Center is a NIOSH-supported education and research center, so funding is for US citizens only.
