  • Special issue on ICF in Prosthetics and Orthotics - Invitation tosubmit proposals



    Invitation to submit abstract proposals for a Special Issue on the
    International Classifications of Functioning, Disability and Health
    (ICF) in Prosthetics and Orthotics.



    The Editor of Prosthetics and Orthotics International
    (http://informahealthcare.com/loi/poi) invites abstracts of prospective
    research papers for consideration in planning its Special Issue on the
    International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health
    (ICF), to be published in September 2011.



    Abstracts will be anonymously peer reviewed for relevance, quality,
    scientific merit and logical presentation. Successful applicants will be
    then invited to submit a full paper to be considered for publication in
    the Special ICF Issue. All submissions are subject to the normal process
    of peer review and must adhere to POI guidelines as outlined in the
    Instructions for Authors:

    authors and journal will make every effort to meet:

    April 1, 2010: Abstracts due to Journal's Editor

    June 1, 2010: Notifications of abstract acceptance



    June 15, 2010: Author(s) confirmation due



    October 30, 2010: Manuscript submission deadline



    Nov 2010 - April 2011: Peer-review process



    May 30, 2011: Final revisions due



    September 2011: Print
