5TH NORTHWEST BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH DAY U.K.
Dear All,
The 5th Annual Northwest Biomechanics Research Day will this year take place in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool, U.K on Friday 21st May. As always, this promises to be a fantastic opportunity for biomechanics researchers in the Northwest of England to meet up and hear about current research in the field. The day will run from 9 to 5 and will comprise a number of talks on all aspects of biomechanics, including two keynote speakers (to be announced shortly). Lunch, and tea and coffee will be provided. We also hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us for drinks afterwards in the department. Thanks to generous contributions from both the University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool, registration will once again be free. However, if you are intending to come along, we would be very grateful if you could register online at http://www.northwestbiomechanics.org.uk to allow us some idea of numbers.
We would like to encourage as many people as possible to submit an abstract If you wish to do so, please could you submit your abstract, either on the website or by emailing one of the organisers, by FRIDAY 19th MARCH. Due to time constraints of the day, most abstracts will be accepted for poster presentations, however a few will be delegated as oral presentations. If you have a strong preference whether you wish to present an oral presentation or poster, please indicate this and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Best Wishes,
Anthony Channon, Sarah Williams and Phillip Cox.
