An opportunity exists to join our research group in neural engineering using
non-invasive electrophysiological techniques and engineering to understand
the plasticity of the central nervous system after locomotor training in
people with a spinal cord injury. We work primarily on questions related to
reorganization of spinal reflex circuits and pathways after locomotor
training while utilizing a robot- driven gait orthosis system (Lokomat). We
conduct several non-invasive electrophysiological tests, electromyography,
    motion analysis etc.

We seek highly motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team while
concomitantly want to pursue their own ideas in a very supportive
environment. The focus of this position is to combine biomechanical,
engineering concepts along with clinical experiments to advance the
understanding of CNS plasticity at a spinal level. This is a full time
position with University benefits and provides exceptional opportunities for
    research and career development.

A PhD in biomedical engineering, physiology or neurosciences is required.
Previous experience in software programming and development is desirable,
and previous experience in human subjects, including neurological patients,
    is beneficial.

For consideration submit please a CV and the names of contact information of
three professional references as a .pdf file attachment to:
