  • Free AnyBody webcast: Physiological responses to bicycle design

    Dear Subscribers,

    Ernst Albin Hansen, Ass. Professor at Dept. of Health Science and Technology, Aalborg University, will be giving a free webcast presentation on Thursday March 25th on the subject of;

    "The effect of bicycle chain wheel shape on the rider's physiological response"

    Ernst Albin Hansen, an expert on bicycle biomechanics, presents his recent investigation in which AnyBody (the AnyBody Modeling System(tm)) was used to explain remarkable experimental findings that the Biopace chain wheel significantly reduces the blood lactate concentration of riders. As bicycle design is an obvious area for biomechanical simulation, the chain wheel shape is just one of many possible design parameters that can be investigated.
