Clinical Research Project Manager
Your tasks
In this position at the crossroad of clinical research and the med-tech industry, you support the development of an innovative device for low back pain therapies. Together with clinics and experts in the field, you initiate and monitor product application. As one of your key tasks, you evaluate the device's scientific credibility and establish a scientific network in the orthopaedic rehabilitation. In addition, you assist and monitor the performance of clinical studies with study protocols, data analysis, study material, and logistic support. You ensure knowledge transfer between users (physiotherapists, patients) and the project team (members of our development, product management, quality management and production departments). For the deployment of the new product, you develop the User Manual and training material, you support the DTP (Direct To Patient) program and instruct users worldwide. Thus, the position involves approx. 40% international travels.
Your profile
* You have at least three years of experience in the field of orthopaedic physiotherapy or medical rehabilitation. You are able to objectively evaluate different "schools of therapy".
* You have experience with clinical studies and applied research projects, ideally you have initiated them yourself.
* You enjoy the challenge of evaluating and communicating the clinical needs and of representing and asserting the company's interests at the same time.
* You have a good understanding of business models and commercial aspects and you are familiar with various accounting procedures.
* You take pleasure in giving presentations in front of expert committees, project teams and management boards.
* You communicate fluently in English (German is a plus) and are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
* Experience with low back pain and a network of researchers, clinicians, therapists and sponsors are a plus.
