The Movement Science Laboratory at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas has an opening for an outstanding research assistant.
Duties include assisting with computerized gait analysis data collection, range of motion measurements, strength assessments, metabolic evaluation during locomotion, processing and reducing data, recruiting subjects for ongoing studies, managing study data collection using wearable sensors, delivering high quality, valid data to principal investigators, physicians, fellows and senior Movement Science Lab staff.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in human movement, excellent organizational skills, a background in research and Vicon motion capture experience. Software expertise with Vicon Nexus, Polygon, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a plus.
