Dear all,
I am interested in developing an OpenSim model of the upper extremity to simulate manual wheelchair propulsion in individuals with spinal cord injury. I understand that OpenSim has previously been used to investigate the treatment of individuals with spinal cord injury. In order to use OpenSim to simulate manual wheelchair propulsion, I know that I will need to combine both the upper extremity model and the head and neck model, in addition to adding other upper extremity muscles. I was wondering if anyone has used or is currently using OpenSim to investigate movement of the upper extremity and trunk in individuals with spinal cord injury, to see if a more appropriate model has been developed. Any information or advice that can be offered will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
