    Job Summary:
    The Rehabilitation Medicine Department (RMD), Clinical Center (CC), NIH, was established to provide the highest quality rehabilitation assessment and innovative rehabilitation services for patients with complex illnesses and other medical conditions participating in research at the NIH. The Department is comprised of six divisions: the Physical Therapy Section, Occupational Therapy Section, Recreation Therapy Section, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Section, Functional and Applied Biomechanics Section, and Speech and Language Pathology Section. Rehabilitation Medicine professionals strive to improve the quality of life for CC patients.
    We are seeking a licensed physical therapist with expertise in 3D motion capture to work with a multidisciplinary research team in the Functional & Applied Biomechanics Section. This person would work directly under Dr. Diane Damiano and would be responsible for coordinating patient evaluations for multiple research protocols and participating in data analysis, interpretation and dissemination for many of these studies. They would also be integrally involved in the training of other clinical and research scientists in gait and motion analysis and other musculoskeletal and functional assessments.
