Research Assistant (pre- or post- doctoral)
Applications are invited for a Research Assistant position funded by the Dunhill Medical Trust. The project involves a randomised clinical trial to evaluate a promising intervention (somatosensory stimulation) to improve functional recovery in the upper limb after a stroke in adults. A number of techniques will be used including transcranial magnetic stimulation to evaluate changes in cortical organisation and also 3D motion analysis to analyse movement quality and precision.
The salary is up to £27,319 plus London Allowance (currently £2,323) p.a depending on experience, for a period of 30 months.
