I am a graduate student studying gait in dogs. We want to measure the dog's
velocity using photocells connected to the computer.
We have limited funds for comptuer software. Does anyone know of a free
software program that can measure velocity using only photocells.
In our lab, The photocells are currently connected to a force plate. We only
get velocity readings if the force plates are connected to the photocells. Is
it possible to evaluate velocity with photocells independent of force plates?
Is there software available to do this?
