    ***This is a final reminder to register for the 2010Injury Biomechanics Symposium. Day of registration is also welcome! If you have already registered, thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Columbus!!***

    We would like to invite you to attend the 2010 Injury Biomechanics Symposium which will be held May 16th through May 18th,2010 at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The purpose of the symposium is to stimulate and reward strong injury biomechanics research among students and recent graduates. Attendees can expect original biomechanics research in a forum intended to foster communication between developing and established researchers.

    We are pleased to announce that 16 universities from around the world will be participating in the symposium. The symposium will feature 8 oral presentations and 15 posters. A small sample of the experimental and theoretical topics to be discussed includes:

    • Thoracic Frontal and Lateral Injury
    • Dynamic Spinal Cord Deformation Measurement
    • Side Impact Air Bags
    • Strain Patterns in Real-World Brain Accelerations
    • Experimental and FEM Model for Aortic Injury
    • 3-D Modeling of Knee Joint
    • Whiplash Injury Prevention Using Energy-Absorbing Seat
